Our experience in true wilderness begins in Maun, where we meet with our guide and make preparations for our upcoming adventure. We travel to Moremi Game Reserve and make our camp at the Third Bridge which is one of the best wilderness parts of Botswana covering swamps and dry areas. You will spend two nights in this magnificent area which never fails to impress. You will do game drives in the early mornings as the sun rises and in the late afternoons.
From the Third Bridge we continue with our exploration but this time our journey leads to Khwai in the Northern part of Moremi Game Reserve, which is very popular for its leopards, cheetahs and wild dogs. We spend the following night camping at an exclusive campsite in the community area, exploring the Khwai floodplains on game drives both during the day and at night. Exploring after dark with spotlights offers you an opportunity to experience some of the nocturnal animals that are rarely encountered during the day. We will conduct a guided walk on the morning of the final day just to give you a chance to get up close and personal with nature.
From Khwai we now travel to Savuti commonly known for its stunning landscapes, the strong populations of predators and an annual zebra migration. Savute is the scene for many well-known documentaries and is a prime safari destination in southern Africa. Here we will have the opportunity to explore the Savuti mashlands and learn about its history. During next three days we will do many game drives searching for lions, cheetahs and leopards.
After exploring Savuti for three nights we move to another part of Chobe National park also known as the river front or Ihaha we are going to invade the area for another three nights. Here we experience two beautiful boat cruises morning and afternoons. Right from the boat you can watch herds of elephants, hippos and crocodiles relaxing by the river. On of the highlights will be our morning and afternnon game drives, with a great opportunity to spot many animals.
Before our final day in Chobe we cross the border and make our way into Zimbabwe, to visit magical Victoria Falls. Victoria Falls, a natural wonder of the world presents a spectacular sight of awe-inspiring beauty on the Zambezi River forming the border between Zambia and Zimbabwe. After this experience we drive back to Chobe for our last night in Africa, before we pack our staff and jump for the morning flight from Kasane to Johannesburg and catch our connecting flight back home.
