What to expect 22 DAYS / 21 NIGHTS

Day 1-3 CAPE TOWN & CITRUSDAL

The journey of a lifetime begins in Cape Town where we spend two nights. Right after the breakfast we embark on a spectacular day tour around the Cape Peninsula taking in all the highlights such as the visit of African Penguin colony. We travel through charming fishing villages and awesome viewpoints on our way to Cape Point, where the Atlantic and Indian Oceans meet. We say good bye to Cape Town and travel north towards our first campsite in Citrusdal. On our way we stop at Table Bay to take pictures of Table Mountain and carry on further so we can admire the beauty of Cederberg region. Tonight we will enjoy a wine tasting and try our first traditional South African meal.

Day 4-5 ORANGE RIVER & FISH RIVER CANYON

We wake up early this morning and continue north to our camp situated by the Orange river, which forms the border between South Africa and Namibia. Next morning there’s a chance to see the beautiful river valley by canoe or just relax at camp. Afterwards we cross the border and travel to Fish River Canyon, the second largest canyon in the world. After the incredible photo opportunity we enjoy our dinner while watching the sunset at the edge of the canyon.

Day 6-7 NAMIB DESERT & NAUKLUFT NATIONAL PARK

After a long day on the road we arrive in the Namib-Naukluft National Park where we enjoy a short hike into the Sesriem Canyon. Next morning we wake up very early to watch a spectacular sunrise from towering red sand Dune 45. After our hike, we visit one of the most iconic sceneries on the planet - Deadvlei. Before sunrise we join a local expert and learn about how the Bushmen survived in the harsh desert conditions.

Day 8-10 SWAKOPMUND & SPITZKOPPE

On our way to Swakopmund we make stop at the Walvis Bay to spot the flamingos. For the next two nights we put our tents aside and stay accommodated in this coastal town, where we have plenty of opportunities to experience adrenalin activities such as Sky Diving, Quad Biking or Dolphin Cruise. If you are not participating in any activities, a walk around Swakopmund’s shops is also a good way to spend your day. We leave the Atlantic Ocean and drive to Spitzkoppe, a huge granite peaks rising out of the desert. After setting our camp right at the base of the mountain we go for a guided walk to explore the area of magnificent unique rock formations. There will be a perfect opportunity to try horse-back riding.

Day 12-13 ETOSHA NATIONAL PARK

We break down our tents and head towards the famous Etosha National Park, the place with the most unique game viewing experiences in Africa. In the next two days we will experience various game drives and have an amazing opportunity to watch the animals drinking from waterhole just a few steps from our camping site.

Day 14-15 WINDHOEK & GHANZI

Next morning we enjoy the last minutes of game drive in Etosha and head towards the capital of Namibia, Windhoek. We will take a short drive through the city, before we unpack our stuff at the hotel and go out for another exciting dining experience.

We say goodbye to Namibia and make our way into Botswana. We arrive lately at our lodge in Ghanzi and this evening we experience some traditional tribal dancing from the local community.

Day 16-19 OKAVANGO DELTA & CAPRIVI REGION

The scale and magnificence of the Okavango Delta helped it secure a position as one of the Seven Natural Wonders of Africa. We will camp next three nights at the crystal clear waters of the Okavango, listening to voices of hippos during the night. Nature walks around the small islands with possibility of seeing wildlife, and Mokoro trips ending with watching the sunset overlooking the Delta are a must see experience for everyone.

As we leave the Delta we enter Namibia again for our overnight stay right on the banks of the Okavango River in the Caprivi Strip, where we have a very good opportunity to try the fishing.

Day 20-21 CHOBE NATIONAL PARK & VICTORIA FALLS

Chobe National Park is the second largest in Botswana and is known for its superb game viewing all year round, as it has one of the largest populations of game on the African continent. Upon arriving in Chobe we will experience a sunset boat cruise on the Chobe River and next morning we enjoy an early morning game drive through the park.  As soon as our game drive is over we pack our tents and arrive in Victoria Falls before the noon, where we can book many exciting activities including the famous helicopter flight or the water rafting.

Day 22 VICTORIA FALLS & FLIGHT HOME

Victoria Falls, a natural wonder of the world presents a spectacular sight of awe-inspiring beauty on the Zambezi River forming the border between Zambia and Zimbabwe. Our tour officially ends after breakfast, we buy the last souvenirs at the local craft markets before we take a local flight from Victoria Falls to Johannesburg to catch our departure flight back home.
